Smiles All Round Please

“Everyone smiles in the same language.” – Unknown. Travel is one of life’s great pleasures. And being in the travel business gives us the opportunity to share in many of our customers’ happy travel experiences. So it’s always a shame when people are denied the opportunity to travel.

Those with pre-existing medical conditions can find it particularly hard to travel as their condition may preclude them from finding travel insurance cover at a reasonable price, or even at all.

We take particular pride in our Explorer Platinum product which gives those with pre-existing conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or even heart disease, a chance to take out travel insurance at a reasonable price. We know from the emails and phone calls that we receive from our customers that our Platinum product gives them real peace of mind, particularly those who’ve been rejected by the mainstream insurers.

So we hope you’ll forgive us for taking up space in our own blog to tell you that our Explorer Platinum product was recently awarded a Best Rate policy in the ‘Medical Conditions Travel Insurance’ category in Which? Magazine’s Summer 2016 travel insurance review.

The review, which was published last week, is produced on an annual basis and although we haven’t been present for a couple of years, we’re now back with a vengeance!

In fact, we had honourable mentions in two categories this year, one for ‘Best rates: Single trip’ and one for ‘Best rates: Annual multi trip’.

As the magazine said, “If you’ve been ill in the past, or you have any chronic conditions, getting travel insurance can be tricky. Mainstream insurers may charge a large premium to cover you and others may exclude your conditions entirely.  However, there are specialists who can help. Our Best Rate table can help you find appropriate cover at a reasonable price”.

We ‘re delighted to be back ‘in amongst’ some of the industry’s leading players in this category. And even more delighted to be able to help our customers share those smiles.
